More years ago than I care to admit on our annual fishpedtion, as we called it, we calculated that we had enough beer cans for a 40 meter vertical. After some planning and careful construction it became a reality. 2 Ground wires were placed in the lake and 2 on the ground. The antenna worked very well and we made many contacts using it during the course of the trip. The hams involved are shown on the friends page. (Columbus friends) Not all are shown here as one was taking pictures and one was out buying beer in hopes of extending it to 80 meters. Oh to be young again!
